I went to deliver to this place in deep Chicago to a food plant for flour. The only way in was going under a bridge that was 13'6". Our trucks are 13'6" and so I parked on the side of the street and watch other trucks go under the bridge. I put on my four ways and crawled under it, I may have looked stupid to others but in the end I'm still the one responsible. Turns out its higher than posted and I went through okay. Love hate relationship with certain height signs. Some can be shorter than posted and some are higher than posted.
NavigatorWife, bryan21384, Socal Xpress and 6 others Thank this. -
Distracted driving, or had directions that said it was only way to get there. Bad pretrip
NavigatorWife and x1Heavy Thank this. -
That bridge has been repainted, I don't recognize it anymore.
The tractor made it. But obviously the trailer did not and it's probably totaled.
Makes me wonder if he bobtailed under to get trailer and back through. Whump.NavigatorWife and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
It was in Pennsylvania
