Foodservice is usually home daily and long hours, ie 14 hour days.
Apply to any compay your're interested in, even if you don't think you'll be hired. Some companies have flexibility, but don't advertise it.

I'm open to a multitude of different jobs. After submitting my resume on indeed the only results I ever got back was OTR. Craigslist in that area was about the same. (Don't judge me by searching Craigslist!!) I spend so much time away from home now, I just want to wind down and finally be able to spend time at home. Long hours aren't a huge issue nor is hard work, I do both currently.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
I've never considered hauling fuel, as I figured I didn't have enough experience. But, taking that with a gain of salt, and planning on applying at companies anyhow like you posted earlier. Worst they can say is no.

I actually spoke to a recruiter at Prime a couple months ago. I just didn't get a good feeling from the conversation. First they told me that I would have to train with a driver for a few thousand miles. I figured maybe a orientation and a road test, maybe a couple days max with a trainer as I have a CDL already. I just didn't like the way the conversation went, so, I just put them out of consideration. They seemed more toward only OTR was all they could offer me.
CFI on the other hand, I haven't looked into them, but, I will now. -
