LTL sector's dirty LITTLE secret(that isn't secret)

I'll mention some of the more obvious stuff, but there could be alot more beyond that, that requires more advanced investigations.

more obvious stuff:

1. constitution's commerce clause states that congress must regulate stuff affecting interstate commerce.
1a. nmfta is a 3rd party nongovt entity that taken on responsibilities of regulating freight classification which greatly impacts all of interstate commerce. this goes against the constitution. also beyond the commerce clause of constitution, also the fair labor standards act states that govt must regulate interstate commerce and nmfta isn't govt its a 3rd party nongovt entity.

2. inside of the nmfta making the decisions, beyond members, these are actual decision makers. is members of most of all the ltl companies are inside of the nmfta. this is a direct conflict of interest because they are attempting to set rules influencing commerce that impacts their own businesses. only common sense would suggest they would rig the market to unfairly benefit the ltl companies over everyone else in the interstate commerce market.


less obvious stuff that requires more deeper investigation:

1. territorial mapping where 1 ltl companies coverage begins is borderline where another company ends. this suggests organized effort to not compete, in market that is suppost to be legally competitive. this one is rather obvious actually, but 1a. is less obvious.
1a. territorial mapping in this manner i heard can also be used to do big rigging on government contracts, however government contracts given to companies is very complex and requires alot of expertize outside of my limited research.
