Mack granite exhaust fumes in cab.

    The whole exhaust system is double checked. No leaks. Seams to be coming from the heating vents. But can be wrong. Any ideas? Tia

    Ahh, smells like money to me,,,seriously, if all the clamps are tight, the only other place would be the manifold gasket. If it's that bad, you should see soot where it's leaking.

    Flex pipe between the turbo and the one box.... it tends to burn out the pipe on the top back side... almost impossible to see even with a flashlight... unless your under the truck looking up at the side facing the engine

    Had same problem on my 389, replaced the flex pipe and solved problem. Easy job to do.

    The flex pipe got changed 3 weeks ago. Nowhere spot marks to see. I am driving right now with ventilator off. I think it’s coming through there. There is still air going thru the vents. Last day I drive it. The fumes are killing me
