Thanks going to try that out and see before I leave out in the AM. Hopefully that will work. They were having issues finding me a dealer as well. Everyone was backed up and Nick wants me to pu my home time load on time so I won't be late....so I might have to deal with Peterbilt of Dallas ugh.....

 

Going to be parking at NC yard Sunday night, where do we park? Tried looking at satellite but couldn't really tell. After del at Sanford, pu at a chemical place in winston-salem going to romeoville for wed night. So far so good!

I thought I saw a fuel preference map somewhere on the thread. Forgot to ask during orientation. Thanks!

 

I wouldn't worry about fueling, idk that anybody actually pays attention to that anymore. You can park at your shipper in Winston Salem. Our lil section is past the shop/ fuel island and docks almost straight thru after you pull in the yard. Hope this helps...

 

Actually, they prefer you park up on top of the hill at Greensboro. Go straight then left up the hill to the gravel lot in the back of the main warehouse. We're the red-headed step-child at that Old Dominion yard. Drop trailers will be where Xeres said on the paved part. There is a shower in the restroom by the dispatch office, btw.

Kay Chemical is also park out back top of the hill. Place has started to get more popular for overnight, so Greensboro might be the better option. But, you can always go look. Might get loaded early.

 

I put at 1700, might just go back to Greensboro after...thanks for info! Gotta alot to learn!

 

They paved that lot at the top of the hill and we don't park up there anymore. They park all their bobtails up there...

Just go straight past the shop and park where the other Magnum trailers are straight ahead. You will see them. Our 'terminal' is just a few parking spots really... basically through the front gate and straight ahead to the back row

 

Red arrow is the main gate
Blue circle is where we drop our trailers. If there is no spots use any spot on that back row. The yard dog will move it if needed....

@Oor if you look all the way on left you can see the new lot with all the bobtails in it where the dirt lot used to be....

It's really cramped now.... but still ok to spend the night if needed....

Made it home for a 34. Deliver 10 mikes from the house. Reload at the same place for 2 stops MO and WI

 

Got just enough time for a 34 because they loaded me 8 hours early at St Cloud Cold Storage. Spending it at the Atlanta Petro though.
