Darien is a good place. Quick unload. Nice folks. Overnight parking if you need it but there is a restaurant with truck parking on the exit off of 43 you can park at as well.

Oh yes, I spent a lot of time in Laredo from 2012-2014...PAM had a terminal there and a lot of the automotive stuff either was coming or going. At one time I knows 35 like the back of my hand. I would roll through there at night to be Austin and San Antonio traffic.

I understand where you're coming from bc of your position.

Magnum is asking for trouble with this policy. They're asking for good employees to stop reporting issues. I wouldn't blame anyone there for not telling them they messed something up because if they report it, Magnum dings they're DAC. If they don't report it, no problem!

Also, once word of this practice spreads, they can forget about getting any good qualified drivers to apply. I know I have taken them off of my short list should I ever need to make a move.

I disagree. Fair notice is cornerstone to a mutual trust relationship. Reporting minor incidents post employment is BS and I'm placing that practice firmly in the operation managers diaper.

So just this week I think I've broken my personal record for "most tired I've ever been" about 3 times.

Shutting down in st cloud. Good night all! I'm gonna have some epic dreams tonight!

No problem till they get caught. Which eventually they will. Then they're gone, and it won't say rehire on their DAC either.

And that's the other side of the coin, isn't it. You see management's dilemma. What's the solution to stopping all the equipment damage? How many $1,000 reefer shrouds you spotting a guy? You got a good answer, I'm sure they'd love to hear it.

Would it make you happier if he just took those "minor incidents" out of your check and let the DAC thing slide?
