Who wants to work with someone watching over their back at all times?

It really depends on the implementation, will they be event triggered or on all the time? Will Magnum safety be the ones managing them or will they be monitored by a third party?

This is likely being driven by the insurance company, we use the same insurance and a significant discount can be had with driver facing cameras and a coaching system.

Hopefully they are rolled out in a driver centric manner.

    Xeres63 and cdavis188 Thank this.

Oh great a coaching system how lovely. Cant wait. A big nope,.forward facing is good enough, no driver facing if your living in the truck

One of the best things about being a good experienced safe driver is that you can always find a new home…

I no longer work for Magum so I can’t comment on how they will roll out the system. For my company, thankfully, drivers were listened to so it’s really a nothing burger unless you like to drive without a seatbelt or frequently hold your phone.

Now if you drive 70 mph in a 45 mph construction zone, well there’s no real helping you then lol.

Well guys look like magnum has eliminated layover. Bonuses will probably be next. Also, did you guys notice how Joey sent the message out at 4:35 PM. He sent a message like that on a Friday evening and just made such a massive change. That layover has all been #### near eliminated. No company ever has judged layover on a two load basis. It’s always been on a load by load basis.

Also, your driver managers can’t fix this so complaining to them does absolutely nothing. You need to talk to Chad Nielson since he is the head of LTD.

Been told we're getting rid of money losing broker loads, gonna run much longer deadheads back to higher paying contract freight, so that would explain the change.

With the timing on that message, will agree it was served up on a garbage can lid.

    Xeres63, JForce28, motocross25 and 2 others Thank this.
