Nothing like the fresh smell of a smokeless ash tray while reaching for my zippo and pack of reds first thing in morning, goes great when you open the door with all the wonderful truck stop smells.

 

Speaking of knees, I know a 66 year old man, who retired and has been getting Social Security since he was 62, he wants to get both his knees replaced on the same day and is worried if they don't do it soon, the doctors will put him on disability. And he doesn't want to be on disability... He makes me feel smart

 

Well, I shouldn't do this but....Wed and Thursday I ended up turning almost 1300 miles in 36 hours. Out of Shelby, I delivered in Minot, rolled down to the LTL yard in Bismarck and picked up a load to Grand Forks, then picking up in Grand Forks headed for Paris, TX...then up to Tulsa for a load to Garner NC mid week.

 

Finished my run from Texas to Concord NC. Was first in line at Mclanes. Appt was for 0100. Daniel opened the gate at 2230 and I was unloaded and rolling out at 1200....
Was home in the bed with my wife by 0300....
See ya after the DOT blitz next week.
I didn't plan my hometime for that reason, more to set up my vacation on July. But I sure ain't disappointed I'll be home for it!!

 

Enjoy it brother! The beach is real nice right now by the way, got a little sun burnt this morning.

 

Hey, anyone, how do we go about getting these trucks washed? Can we use our Magnum fuel cards at BlueBeacon?... Thanks in advance.

 

We have a national account at Blue Beacon. 1 truck wash a month. As many trailer wash outs as you need...The card isn't used. It's a direct bill. Just sign for it.
