Over the years, I've read horror stories here on The Trucker's Report about people being put in terrible situations with trainers at different companies out there. I need to say that other than the on-board toilet he was using, my situation really wasn't bad otherwise. He was a good guy in a lot of ways. If he can just change up a couple of things, I do think he could be a good trainer for us.

As you said, Goldenfan, I too would be interested in knowing what his real reason was for not wanting to continue training me. I thought everything was going pretty well overall, and the whole thing was a total shock to me when I heard he wanted to continue on his own. I've never claimed to be a perfect person, so maybe there are things I did that annoyed him, but if that is the case, I just don't know what it could have been. I asked him twice if there was a problem he had with me personally, and he said that was not an issue.

I also asked Aron if there was anything like that, but he said no. I don't want to make a big deal out of it with Aron by pressing the issue, so I'm just going to let it rest. My trainer can go his own way and I wish him nothing but the best. I will work with whomever Aron and Shaun want to pair me up with next and I don't anticipate any problems. I'll just listen, do what they tell me to do, and hopefully prove to them that I'm a good, capable, safe driver. Before long, I hope to be cruising the highways and byways in one of those beautiful blue Magnum trucks just like you guys.
