I’ve only hauled one load of drywall in my life. If they’re going to demand it be hermetically sealed to NASA standards for space transport instead of tarped it really should be travelling indoors.

 

Or they could shrink wrap it like every other industry does if it needs to stay dry .

 

Even stuff that’s wrapped they still want tarped a lot of the time. Lumber wrappers and the shrink wrap on shingle and roofing skids usually won’t take 2500mi in the wind.
