Making Trailer Cleanout Station

Well, I just work here as Yard Driver and sometimes very short trailer shuttle, so I don't really get to truck stops.

It looks like I'm getting stuck with this trailer duty. There is no place for a proper clean out Dock like some places like Georgia Pacific have. This whole idea was a commitment made by a guy at company headquarters and we have to figure it out.

So far, I'm blowing out the trailers with the leaf blower and yeah small pieces of wood get dumped there. I'm also the Yard Driver and I don't have a lot of time for this. Later, when I do have time I might pickup some of that stuff so it doesn't keep accumulating becoming a trashy eye sore.

 

I do this on the edge of the lot.
