    Only for 6 mos. Just couldn't handle being gone from home so much on the 48. May just couldn't provide enough miles on the 5.

    Yeah, companies like Market (small to midsize) play it smart and pick up drivers who put their two years of safe driving in at the big carriers first.

    Since there is such a high turnover rate in the industry, there's always plenty of drivers available who meet their criteria. Not to mention they offer a regional route which allows drivers the opportunity to get home every week which is a hugely attractive alternative to being away from home weeks on end.

    I was at 35 cpm last year plus 2 cents extra if I ran 9k in a month, which was easy.
