How much are you paying in taxes? Typically after all the deductions,insurance,retirement,etc. I typically net $1200. And I make a comfortable living. And that’s including paying a mortgage.

I’m not,I’m just saying. What’s the tax rate where you live? I know where I live the sales tax is 6.25 %. Some states might be lower, others are definitely higher.

Do you live in Tennessee? That’s the only state I can think of off the top of my head that has a sales tax that high.
