Right now I'm in TCD and I'm hating it. All the live load/unloads. I spend most of my time at a shipper or cons. and it's getting to be a serious pain. Before I up and quit I wanted to give the glass division a try. A few things are holding me back though. Ok, for one it's about to get cold and I was wondering if I should stay put because freight for the glass division may slow up!??!? Two, I wanted a little more home time then my last company but I'm hearing you're required to stay out for 3 weeks at the least!!??!?
A few questions: How are the miles (avg) per week; and during the winter time? What's the average time it takes to tarp glass loads? Is it a process that'll have you get better with repetition? Are you required to have a passport or is that if you're willing to run to Canada? Would you recommend switching if I'm a little afraid of heights? I really love working for this company and don't wanna leave but I'm getting lazy and fed up with all this sitting around
