Maverick or McElroy

Both are good companies. Either one would be a good choice.

 

What kinda school you in? Comm. collage?

 

I am also considering McElroy. They claim to pay 38c minimum on ALL miles including deadhead miles inbetween pickups. They claim a guarenteed home every weekend and holidays.It is even stated on thier website. Notice I am using the word claim. This is information that was presented to me by a recruiter They are a Flatbed that requirers tarping. I am also concerned with the miles per week that I might actually get. I would like to here from an actual driver with McElroy vs the recruiters sales pitch. I havent heard any bad yet.

 

A poster on here by the name of overheard drives for them. Might try to holler at him. I have met him in person and he is a nice guy. He is well pleased with them. You can research his post on here. He has posted about them.

 

which one does less tarping?

 

the McElroy recruiter claimed a 65% pre tarped loads. I imagime the veterans and well liked get those. I expect, if I go, with them there will be alot of tarping starting out. If it turns out to be good for newies as well then I will get better than expected results.
