Maverick Transportation To Sell Its Refrigerated Division To KLLM

Very sad. I just don't like it.

 

Doesn't change anything for anybody,anywhere.

 

Maverick is down south of us along I-40 east of Little Rock.

If they sold the Reefer division to KLLM then that will pretty much make the KLLM dominant here in the south. I don't know of any other outfit that big. (Used to have a 230+ trucks with Ronnie Dowdy in Batesville which was outstanding in its own right. But think they went out of business about 2008 or so with the losses in this Economy.)

So that will make KLLM what? 1500 trucks plus?

I think Maverick missed out on a opportunity to contract to McKesson and other Pharmacy shippers of medicines and so forth. Our Nation is getting older and sicker and that will continue for about 40 years after this is posted.

 

I wish they'd sell the glass division to Daseke!!!

Probably run into ya sometime. We (Moore) haul out of a lot of the same glass plants.
