Pictures or it didn't happen. That's roughly 3 times the slope of most mountain highway downgrades. I'd be surprised if the tractor will be geared low enough. Weights also weren't provided either. Lots of seat of the pants math to do.

 

15% in reverse You will need to lock differentials or you’ll just spin especially if road is dirty or gravel.. I deliver into mountain jobsites and without 4 way locked up I tend to spin the drives..

 

never measured them, but I’ve had plenty of hills in landfills where it was fully locked, first gear and the dozer will pull you the rest of the way when you stop

 

In my opinion 15% is only going to work on dry concrete and since everything has 2xx gears now good luck to the clutch and driveline

 

I don't know what an acceptable angle is but I can definitely say if you're at an angle. The trailer will go to the downhill side.

I had to fight that situation last week. Had to go on flatland. Back up and start over.

 

The height of the fifthwheel plate from the frame rails and the forward position make a difference too. If Plate is lo pro and too close to top of rail and tires it will cause more twist and bottom out issues. Need to have fifth wheel slid all the way back so it doesnt let trailer bottom out on the tail ends of the rails or nose down into the cat walk or quarter fenders for the best results
