I’m looking to replace the shocks on a 2008 Vanguard 53 footer, but when I Google vanguard trailer shocks it pulls up shocks for semi trucks are these shocks all the same?? Or if anyone could point me right direction.
Maybe a dumb ? But I need to know!!!!!

Never replaced trailer shocks but I imagine most likely the same shocks can be used, tractor axle holds just as much weight at 340000

There’s only a few trailer suspension suppliers so they could be the same across several brands

Try to get a part # off of shock, if it isn’t on the frame tag. Mine are all rusted out. Trailer Dealer/Supply suggested taking one off, bringing in and match it up.

Call this number (219) 253-2000 ask for a parts distributor for Vanguard parts. Have the model ready, call the parts distributor, and get the right parts. It can be one of three shocks, you don't want to put the wrong on the trailer.
