Hi all! Thanks so much for being patient with me as I ask all my newbie Q's. I'd like to know what kinda medical issues will give you the boot while at training? I had knee surgery about 2 years ago, if my knees function...I should be good right? Thanks so much!

you'll be fine, frankly DO NOT MENTION THAT at application time, OR DOT physical time...they may demand a doctors note that you are ok.....

tell them, (if the DOT doctor asks) you had that done years ago, when you were a kid.

    DON'T ASK...DON'T TELL...!!!!!!

I don't think it will be an issue. They will ask you during the physical test to do a "duck walk", you just need to squat down and walk a few steps. if you can do that then you are good.

Your fine. It is a part of your history as far as surgeries go. If you flag it the ME will just ask you about it and move on past it. Its a nothingburger, ignore it.

Well you should probably be okay as long as you're not like hooked on painkillers or something from the surgery. Be careful what you put in that DOT Questionaire , Some companies has a federal statute listed that you could be liable for civil and or criminal penalties if you withhold information or knowingly give false information.

Ignore this!!!! You will NOT be liable for anything because of a knee surgery many years ago.

Yes as long as you can climb into that cab of your assigned truck and start the engine put it into gear and release the brakes you'll be ok and are capable of opening the back doors its a piece of cake really.
