Melton in Washington state

This isn't even a question. Systems hands down. Run the NW regional maxi fleet and you will see your house all day everyday. Those ####ers run Seattle to Spokane like it's a dedicated account.

 

Hey i live in seattle and work for melton. I have been sent to seattle and other areas in wa state several times when I didnt even request home time. Living in wa and working for melton is a plus in my opinion because coming off home time and going to home time you will get a great load. If you are worried about home time than dont be an otr trucker. I also used to think i wanted to go home every couple weeks, but i end up staying out for a couple months. But that is my own decision. Washington state drivers are required to stay out 3 weeks minimum. And they WILL get you home when you ask. Oh and you will get plenty of miles.... Even with all this said, i came on here today to learn more about system myself. As they sound to have more opportunities. Such as owner opp hire, maxi fleet. Which melton has neither. But i wont jack your thread

 

If you're talking about the same red and gold STidham trucks out of Yreka,ca then yeah they run a ton of I-5. They are a small company, paper logs and nice trucks. haul oversize some and lots of beams. They just got bought out by some company out of Denver. Have a buddy who worked there for a long time and liked it. I always forget about them

 

The maxi fleet at systems is avail now bc they lowered their pay and miles. A friend of mine went from 900 a wk and home every weekend to 600 per week. He recently left like most people on that fleet. You will tarp or untarp everyday with the 8 ft ddrops.
