Anyone know where these stranded drivers are? I can still help in NYC, but I'm going back to out tomorrow.

 

okay monkeyman........got to the terminal and in the truck........checked the qualcom.........and there was a msg at 0700 on the 23rd that Swift drivers were to help out any stranded arrow drivers and give them a ride if needing to go in our direction.

Trying to remember the last time I was wrong...... this might take awhile...

 

Mustang, it wasn't the Finance company that went belly up, it was Arrow. they didn't own the trucks the finance companies did, they want their equipement back that's all. Would it have sounded better if they said to park the trucks where ever you are or we'll report them stolen? Last time I checked you could travel cross country on a bus with $200. Why should a finance company have to take on Arrows debt? I feel for every one of these drivers, but at least someone stepped up and did something.

 

Have all the arrow drivers gotten a ride yet?

Im now on a local route from Milton PA to York PA and make 5 runs a day, so....maybe not much help but...

 

I got a call today from Kenny.
He is the Arrow driver I took to the bus station after Arrow left him stranded here in N.C.

He said he got hired today with a paper company there in Kentucky where he lives and is on a dedicated Kentucky to Chicago run and home every other night. He's on hourly salary now and his dad sent him some money to get by on until he gets a pay check. I'm really glad that things are starting to look good again for him. I wish him the best.
