I'd say he learned it quite well! He managed to pay all his expenses, and saved up enough money to do his own thing, just like he said he was going to do! Maybe he didn't do it skateboardmans way, but he did it!

Lol, he said there was NO system. So you are saying there was a system to learn??

Who ever system he used there was a system apparently.

He stated several he didn't, couldn't make money here,. Those are his words.

If what he said was true, then how did he do what you say he did?

    How are both things possible?

Remember, he is the one who said there is no system to learn , not me.

But I think you have said the same.

There is a way to learn to maximize the your use of the system.

The new change to load board suits me well.

But then he could have cashed 401k, but if he didn't he made money here

I thought I was pretty clear with what I posted! I was pointing out, he did it his way not your way, and still accomplished his goal, and accomplishing goals is success IMO! As far as the "system" goes, I said it to you before, but apparently when you changed from Skateboardman to mickeymouseclub you forgot, so I'll tell you again, it's not that complicated, even less complicated with the recent change!

You miss the point he said continually he didnt make money here. It isn't about doing it my way or your way,. ITS what he said in his posts.

You are also assuming how he did what he did.

You also assume I said do it my way.

Everyone can learn to use the system to benefit their style.

Whether you think its complicated or not, there are still nuances to maximizing the system we have,. Not many had a clue how board position was determined on the old book ahead system. Did you know or do you know how it was determined?

I'm not assuming anything other than he accomplished his goal of leaving! Yeah, you already mentioned that you think nobody but but you knew about board position in another post, that's the skateboardman mentality I like so much! No doubt the guy said a lot of stuff, some I agree with some I don't, but if we're holding people to what they say while venting on TTR, when are you leaving?

Lol, I don't plan on leaving, I can't complain. I have made one complaint on here , it was about holding my board position on a less than 250 mile load, I stated I was ready to quit over it, but I ended up with my board position back after my coordinator produced the email. Is that the vent from over 2 years ago that you speak of?

But again do you know how load position was determined for booking loads ahead? It was not what most people assumed. My point is that made a big difference under old rules.

Vangtransport, I only ask if people know how the position was determined.

I found out actually by accident, I asked one question , and got answered with how.

It actually helped in booking ahead, I told or tried to tell folks, but most told me I had it wrong.

That the reason I asked you. By the way are you leaving? It's odd that's some who have criticized the greatest amount leave and then come back here, I think you and I know people who done that.

But keep in mind having authority isn't the magic bullet many think it is.

Several leave here , get authority , and then broker freight from here,. And broker loads pay 8 percent more than leased on trucks, basically 83 Vs 75 and they bear all expenses,

Its actually closer to 12%. And some days its well over 100% All comes down to how bad mercer needs to get the load covered. Like any broker some days that means going in the negative on a load.

Yup that was the crying I was talking about! But actually you said that it was the final straw, so that would mean there were straws before that final one!

Like I said, asked and answered, BY YOU!

I don't think that was your point at all, because I didn't asked you, and you already told everyone on here! So what was your point, let me guess, you think I don't know (even though you already put it on here), & you want feel like you know something I don't (even though you already put it on here). So I'm going to help you out, I'm not going to answer (even though you already put it on here), that way you can go on thinking what you want about something that we no longer use!

    See!!

Lol, you had to dig for that one.

You got any other examples though?

Pretty good results, I got one gripe. How many do you have .

It's actually a pretty good sign when someone has to do research over a couple year period to find even one complaint.

At least I don't have many, and mine was actually validated when I got my position back.

I will take that over generalized peeing and moaning.
