Oh and I am pulling flat, step, and RGN with it now. Hopefully in a couple of weeks it will be just pulling flat with Mercer mudflaps!

 

@RStewart At one point you had posted that you were looking at used Melton trucks. I've looked at some of those as well. Any takeaways you'd care to share based on the research you did last year? I notice that many of their Cascadias are being sold with less than 400k on them. I wonder how well Melton maintains their fleet.

 

Hope there is still room for more trucks when Im ready to come over in about 1.5 years...

I did look into them but didn't do a lot of research. I was told by a few people to stay away from the cummins engine in their trucks. But I do know a couple people that have the cummins & love it.

I don't know anything about their Cacadias.

 

I see a lot of Mercer trucks running military loads west thru New Mexico.

 

Lots of bases out that way.

 

Well im gonna say this. if your not certified to haul nuclear loads might wanna get that taken care of... They pay really good.. I see one paying almost $4.... Can't do it cuz im not certified which is easy to do...

 

So.. Got an email today if i don't turn in the new Contract by the 28th im OOS Guess i better start signing it.. Thats what i get for putting it off for so long lol

 

So they took the password off the fuel sight again? Is the IT department just making up jobs cause they the have no work? Anyway story time.

I really like these new trucks. About a week ago I was driving along and my check engine light comes on. GRRRR. So I do the normal fluid checks and everything seems fine. I had my truck scheduled for PM and overhead at the end of the week so I called my shop to see if they thought I could make the rest of the week or head straight to a shop. My guy says let me call you back in a minute after I log into your truck. Say what? I'm 1500 miles away LOL. Sure enough 5 mins later he calls back tells me what caused the light and not to worry, just bring the truck in when I'm I had planned at the end of the week. Man with my old man truck I would have had the truck in the shop that night and spent a ton of money for nothing.

And @farmboy73 dont bother with the DD13.
