Maybe you should pull a van. I just got to the NE tonight. I deliver in the morning & I've already got my load out booked. Lol

Nah, he's just being picky. I run a lot of northeast and I've only ever sat when I chose to. Sometimes it means deadheading 300 miles for a good load, sometimes it means coming out at 1.65/mile, but that' why you don't go in for less than that to average out for you. Most of the time I'm still coming out with a decent, just depends on where you are willing to go with it.

Oh I know he isn't going to pull a van. Lol. I was just giving him crap. Lol. I'm not getting what I usually get or what I really want out of NY but it gets me home & that's number 1 on my list right now.

I read in the contractors website that they installed a fall protection system at Mercertown at building 14. I guess if you need to adjust or tarp anything on the load they want you using it. Where is building 14 at?

I signed for my first truck yesterday, got the insurance today, in 2 days dmv registration. getting 2290 as soon as it is registered. I start orientation next wed. I have to bobtail from california to kentucky. Any advise about coming to mercer prepared? no chance of reimbursement for bobtailing 2500 miles? I doubt it. I will be pulling a van, it seems like they are expanding in the van division.

Insurance, registration, 2290, Not For Hire on the side of the truck. Let me know if there is anything else I should do in preparation. Any help is much appreciated.

Did you finish those safety videos? TWIC card? I'm pretty sure there is no reimbursement for your bobtailing to orientation.
