Mods please separate out to own thread . Titled safety and being safe . Sorry perhaps I have not been here enough , but I would like to share with others .
Keep your attention on driving , quit trying to text or talk . Both distractions . Load security . Tie down all ways . Not just down . You will frequently need dunnage so you can get a decent pull . If conestoga or flat or step , under federal rules , required to stop within 50 miles to check securement . Please do so . I frequently see where I missed or need to add . I am actually fairly good at . Definitely not the best . Next , always , always keep learning and getting better .
