Now they don't want to be causing production cuts at U.S. meat packing plants . It'll cause a loss of income for all the illegals working there .

How messed up is that meat the the Mexicans won't even eat it? You cook something long enough EVERYTHING is edible.

Well not always, but the issue isn't the sanitary conditions. The issue is that Mexico and Canada doesn't want meat labeled as to the country it came from. I personally would rather buy U.S. meat even if it's a bit more expensive. I don't eat the meat in Mexico why would I eat the meat from Mexico here?

I feel for the meat producers in the U.S. however, I think we should stand firm on the labeling. Perhaps I'm just tired of other countries trying to push us around.

How true. I #### near swallowed my cigar when I saw this!

Nana, I could not agree more. I don't mind eating stuff from another country, depending on a LOT of different circumstances. But just why should we let other countries try to tell us how to regulate our own industries.

So, let them not buy our meat. . .

My uneducated, truck-driver guess would be that they are pizzled because ICE keeps raiding the meat packing plants....
perhaps they ARE protesting the "sanitary" conditions after-all.
