Hello all, 1 year in my trucking career currently at melton doing flatbed. Turns out I’m not cut out for this cold weather and tbh tarping these loads is a pain in the ### too.
Looking to get into dryvan or reffer what ever pays better
can anyone reccomend a good job for me. I’m at almost 1 year and can wait the year out if I have to. But this winter is killing me.
mgl gave me a call out of Chicago pretty sure they are a junk company anyone have exp there
I have 10 months otr exp
I’m from Tampa Florida
I have tanker endorsement and am willing to get hazmat if needed.
I also have a 50lbs dog
Hometime isn’t a major concern
Mainly just money while I dog out my second year.
Thanks
MGL 1099 anyone work here

Don't blame you on the Melton/tarping/winter deal either, if you're from Florida, it's certainly a hard adjustment. -

Just wait until those tarps become frozen like a rock and try to deal with it in 0 degrees, windy and the ground is a sheet of ice.
