Miccusukee Travel Plaza…South Florida

I’m sitting in south Florida. Looked for a place to take a 34. Was dismal. Pilots small. Reviews talked about parking. Having to pay $20 to $50 a night for parking.
This place is 50 miles west of Ft.. Lauderdale. Out in Alligator Alley. But it’s real nice and new. Free parking. About 8 spaces close and paved. A large gravel lot with lights. There is plenty of truck parking.
The cafe isn’t going as of yet. Reviews I read on the old cafe out here were real good. So I expect same from new. Has a Dunkin’ doughnuts. They have some food. Store has some food.
It’s run/owned by the indians out here. Great attitude. The cops hang around here all the time.
I like it. Super nice and new.
