So.... Expensive tiny house wasn't quite so tiny after all?
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
It's hard to believe a driver would do that. Didn't even know how tall the load is.
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
mjd4277 and Sirscrapntruckalot Thank this.

And holy cow, is the MI state police really still using those hideous giant red gumball lights?
Oldironfan Thanks this. -

It's Michigan. They can't afford the blue, white an red strobes.
Poor Michigan.
First they have to suffer being the butt of every joke in the NFL during the 80s an 90s, an now they got cities going broke, an politicians dipping out with fat an full pockets.
At lest the driver admitted he was an idiot to the cop about not measuring.
Sirscrapntruckalot - Measure twice, don't hit bridge. Kinda like Measure twice an cut once.Kyle G. Thanks this. -
Kyle G. Thanks this.

So if it’s 13 foot 11 inches and has been hit a dozen times in the past year.... says a lot about the oversize load truckers.
.
I always said if those drivers were too lazy to remove the oversize load signs when they were empty then they were too lazy to chain down their load or now measure it. -
Kyle G. and Sirscrapntruckalot Thank this.

Not measuring a load height. Not good.
As far as the bridge, plenty of pavement and land they dig down a foot and repave. It's cheaper than raising a bridge.
