Michigan City IN - 2 truck accident, 94WB closed

Yup just watched it on the local news... They expect it to be shut down for awhile.

Ya, the article says Illinois Tollway now which is wrong but, it said one truck rear ended the other... How does this continue to happen?

 

I'd put my paycheck on it that driver #2's cell phone records will show exactly what happened. Everybody cries invasion of privacy whenever the topic of cameras comes up. I don't like the idea either but we have at least one of these rear end fatalities a week. I use the term at least very loosely. Soon enough the feds will mandate that too. You know as well as I do how quickly one bad apple can spoil the bunch. Only thing is, we have tens of thousands of bad apples.

 

Maybe a 63 mph truck was in the left lane and this guy ran into the back of this truck in the right lane to show everyone that fast trucks have the right of way. Eh? @Pedigreed Bulldog

 

When I die, I sure hope somebody tells me. I'd hate to go through life not knowing I'm really dead.

 

Gotta tell the family first. Thems the rules.

 

The traffic was stopped due to construction and the driver who rear-ended the other truck was killed.
