Millis OTR journal

I had Danielle as a recruiter and I was probably the easiest recruit ever. I had already made up my mind that I was going with Millis and had already applied before I even talked to her. The only question I remember having for her was about the automatic restriction, which I didn't want. Everything else was just taking care of employment verification, getting my physical, and scheduling class.

 

New trainee twice today asked if we were loaded on 2 different loads. Once while we were at the guardhouse checking out after strapping the load.

 

*,smh* I just don't know about people sometimes

Lol, no idea how I got this guy. I was asked 3 weeks ago to pick up a student in NJ I declined. No one in their right mind would willingly go to New Jersey. Anyway I was getting set up to pick up what seemed to be a normal student in TX. Well all that was tossed out the window when Jersey guy and original trainer didn’t see eye to eye and Jersey guy got dropped off in Trenton after a week in trainers truck.
Jersey guy got into truck and informed me he doesn’t like being told what to do especially when it comes to backing.
Should have some stories by the time this is over.

 

I'm anxiously awaiting more! I'm sure they'll be good too.

Last time Millis sent me to New Jersey I decided it was time to start looking to see what other jobs were available. And I found one!

 

Millis doesn't accept students from other schools do they? If not how'd he pass through Millis school if he doesn't like to take direction?

 

Backing was the thing I wanted more help with in training. He's going to be in for a surprise.

 

Man you have way more patience than me. I wouldve told him to just get out right when he said that. Not wasting my time

 

I have no idea probably got lost in the shuffle of the other students.
