I don't see as many smith trucks

 

Another sign that's happening is I saw a smith Transport pulling a heartland trailer, and vice versa layer after that ...so that's a sign because Smith never let anyone haul their trailers before...

 

I saw on the Millis Facebook page the other day a Heartland Red Freightliner with Millis logos on it. I'm sure in the next year or two they will announce both them and Smith going away and it all being Heartland.

 

Yeah I’ve seen a few of those red HLE with Millis logo down here in Alabama

 

Rumor has it that Kat has left. Also they will be shutting down the shop in Richfield.

 

This milk hauling is no joke. Never had a 700 mile day at Millis. At new company to many to count. I have had several 4000+ mile weeks. Money is good but you gotta work for it.

 

Looks like a tanker outfit has taken over the old trailer shop in BRF.

 

Yeah lots of changes. Wonder how much longer the Millis name will be on the trucks. They got rid of the qualcoms. Put in the Isaacs system. They did the same to CFI and a short while later CFI was no more.

 

I still see the odd Millis truck and trailer coming out of Port Canaveral here in Central Florida. Picking up a load out of Morton Salt

 

If i had to guess I would give it a year or two at most before Millis and Smith are both just Heartland and the brands are dead in the name of operational efficiency and savings. There isn't much benefit to Heartland keeping the names.
