What's going on everybody I just had one question for any previous or current Millis Transfer Students. I know that most of their trucks are automatic. I however want to test out in a manual. I am able to do that?

    Thanks in advance!

Jim Palmer Trucking uses 10 speed stick shifts in their school and in their fleet.

Unfortunately Im pretty sure all the schools have now switched over to being fully automatic. So if you go to school with Millis you will do your test in an auto. I don't agree with it, but not my call lol

Yea that sucks lol Oh well I may end up going anyway I really like their program. I'll just about getting the restriction removed. I spoke with a recruiter she says that they train in both automatic and manuals. So I should be good to try and retest with a 3rd party to get it removed.

Millis is a good company, but keep in mind, you'll be stuck on the east coast. They don't run west.

Thanks I guess I know I had saw that but didn't keep that in mine. If you have any other school suggestions please let me know. Your advice and info on these forums have been really been helpful.

If you want to run west & coast to coast, go with Jim Palmer Trucking or FFE (Frozen Food Express). FFE trains in Texas (Lancaster.).
