I dont get the hate, my company has both union and non union shops, nobody cares. Sounds like a personal beef.

It wasn't, to my knowledge, the whole company. But just one shop in Roseville, MN.
The rest are non-union as far as I know. And still operating as usual.
From what I gathered, based on this article and others i have seen since I first head of this back about Thanksgiving time.
LME, Lakeville Motor Express are alive and kicking.
FLE is the name of the new company spawned from the shop they closed in Roseville. And moved 25 miles west to Maple Grove, MN. Obviously to bust the union there. But that is only based on what I have read and heard from talking to a couple LME drivers that I see from time to time in Duluth, MN and Superior, WI.
Take a grain of salt with what you read from the Duluth News Tribune. They have a pretty heavy slant to the left and unions.

Big Don and bzinger Thank this.

In other words, they are typical news media. Totally unbiased.........right......

The more I read about this, the more convinced that the owners need to see what living behind bars is like. If they don't already know, which they likely DO know, considering.....

Minnesota isnt known as a place that's anti union especially in the Minneapolis/ st Paul / Duluth area .
I grew up in a union home in Minneapolis and am still looked upon as a black sheep by my elders because I didn't follow my father's footsteps and get a union job and stay there till retirement.
There's a deep sence of the world don't exist outside of the twin cities there and in my family those that leave are outcasts .
    I seldom go back .
