Ok, i see...you could jump out on your own at any time and do whatever you want you just have to tell them that you have done it. Good little trick to know for future reference.

I know what you are talking about. That's what we're trying now. I'm moving past my "honesty is the best policy" state of mind. Hmmm.... that means your corrupting me...PharmPhail Thanks this. -
This thread has evolved to make sense! At least there's a sense of direction. Buying a trailer in my mind, without having a tractor made no sense to me. I've contacted many a company before I got either and most want you to pull their trailer under their authority. You get paid less than a regular o/o with own tractor and own trailer, BUT, most will pay your baseplate, some insurance and maintain the trailer with no trailer rental fees to boot.
I'm seeing more and more companies leaving the company driver scene and going in this direction. -

What's wrong with it?

Here's the desription...

Is there a way, once I get the landing gear addressed, to have this trailer offered to load for a company to use for free to get it over my way closer? Let's say a company uses it for a load from it's location to Billings MT That way it was basically delivered for free to Billings, since they were able to use it for free for a load?
