Mississippi aint too bad. Most Ive worried about is that Plumrose shipper in the NE, probably Oxford. Seemed like a very routine load out there with one ice storm exception. That was a experience. Am the only one crazy enough to try it in a ice storm.

The other part about Mississippi is certain truckstops. The food is or was very basic and yet the staff has tried in good graces to be sure that it was taken care of. Maybe a little slower. Which is suitable because here in Arkansas it can take a little while to get around to something.

I have zero experience I am about to take a commercial truck driver course at Northwest Community College in Southaven, MS I just went and got my class CDL learners permit no endorsements yet I just went and took my DOT I passed that and have my DOT card I just went and got my MVR no citations my driving record is clean just wondering are there any companies that would be willing to train me other than the big companies that do the tuition reimbursement and make you commit to a contract or I am just going to stick to my plan of attending Northwest Community College

Averitts good, So is KLLM despite some negative reviews I’ve heard in the past. I do a lot of work with both of them. Easy, common sense approach IMO, unlike so many other large Companies. I’m pretty sure KLLM owns Total Transportation. One of these will probably be your best bet. Also try Big M, they do a lot in that area.

I doubt you'll have to sign a contract with a trucking company since you'll attend a private school.
Ozark Motor Lines has a good reputation and good equipment to drive.

You're in the hiring area for Dot Transportation.
    CDL school tuition reimbursement.
Most terminals have local/regional/OTR to choose from.
Click here > DTI - Drive for Dot Transportation
Website shows 2 terminals in Mississippi : Richmond and Jackson
