The restaurant at the ta in Morris IL is pretty good food for a chain truck stop. I think it's called R place.

There are two route 70s in tennessee. 70 and 70N. They cross in crossville, ironic i know. At the intersection where they cross is a tractor supply. Many trucks can fit there and overnights are fine. That plaza has a pretty good chinese buffet.

Knightstown Gas & Grill in Indiana is a gem. They treat you like royalty. And charge less than Burger King next door for a meal. All home style food. Even the mashed taters are real. I had chicken parm and it was great. For $9.75 I think. They have deep fried mushrooms for $2.95, that will be my next thing to try. Also they have pies, and carrot cake not made in house but in a Chicago bakery.
The owner Cooks in the kitchen. It's worth the stop. It is on the back of the Speedway there.
