Monster hurricane intensifies to catastrophic levels

They were expecting it to rapidly intensify to Category 4,but not a full blown Category 5. Mother Nature loves to throw a curveball!

I could tell just by how big the cloud swirl pattern was - it dang near took up the entire southern GOM.

 

Hurricanes, and the associated insurance costs, are the main reason I refuse to move to Florida. I deal with enough of that right here where I am.

 

That’s IF they can get coverage.

 

Only Category 4 was in the forecast,even taking into account rapid intensification.

Milton is even stronger now. 180 mph winds!

 

Be safe those who live in FL or traveling there.

Gonna be a helluva storm.

We've been lucky on the sandbar this year, no storms...yet at lest. Still got a month to go.

Well, you will probably not have any trouble getting a parking spot at the Flying J or the TA in Seffner off of I -4 on Wednesday evening.
