Just curious what the eye roll is for? Is it for, Who cares, it's just another dead cop, or White American truckers kill people all the time too.

So you're ok with non-English speaking illegals driving a semi? While citizens also cause accidents the 15 illegal drivers killed 28 people. Those accidents were preventable by not having the illegals here or them being issued a license.Gearjammin' Penguin and Tall Mike Thank this.

No, I'm not fine having non-English speaking people behind the wheel of a CMV. I'm also not fine with illegals doing any sort of work.
Non-domiciled doesn't mean either of those two things. Non-domiciled means 'not permanent status, allowed to work'.
Schneider doesn't hire non-domiciled drivers, and they don't hire illegals. Despite that I had constant problems with trainees that weren't proficient in English and a surprising number of native born citizens who were illiterate. And don't get me started on skill issues - no person with a CDL should fail a Schneider road test as it's basically a CDL test. Non-domiciled drivers have a legal ability to work in the US, the fact that most of them have deficient skills is a result of industry pressure to keep churning the driver pool.
That's my root problem with this push to castigate non-domiciled CDLs - it's not doing anything to stop unqualified drivers from getting a CDL or get those who already have a CDL off the road. CDL's should only be issued to those competent in the skills needed to drive the truck and have a legal ability to work in the US. If Duffy were serious about this issue he would be cranking down on CDL mills, castigating those caught selling CDLs, ramping up the difficulty of the CDL test, and restricting the issuance of authorities. He's doing non of these. It's a dog and pony show, nothing more.Old_n_gray, The_vett, Numb and 4 others Thank this. -
I thought they were already about all rounded up and sent to Area 51 for deportation.
