And more money doing it.

By drivers who haven't learned to say NO,
I'm not picking up at 9 am in philly and
Doing 3 deliveries in Boston the next day.

It has nothing to do with whether you're salaried or hourly. Only exempt salaried employees are exempt from overtime. These are generally the higher paid types. Non exempt salaried employees get overtime. These are generally the lower paid clerical types.

 

I worked for MILS for a little while. They "guaranteed" $1,000/week. But they didn't tell you that it was considered an advance from your next check. Basically you are borrowing from your future self...

Yeppers, and I'm reminding every lowball broker I talk to these days about that fact. The economy under the current administration is rebounding big time. Guys are returning to construction, management, etc. Don't blame them considering how most trucking companies pay crap for wages and benefits.
