Really? These forums are full of threads where drivers left for the “greener grass”. The point is, again, you CAN leave the industry or you CAN change carriers. You just have to want to bad enough. Or, more than likely, it’s probably not as bad in reality as some make it out to be when on their soap box (the wages for the work performed)

Maybe i'm lucky, but the guarantees I've seen are lower than what I've made for a while. Nothing impressive.

I spent 9.5 years in truckload. Now being in Ltl no guarantee salary or any truckload carrier can compare. And I’m a road driver home weekends.

That's my point, I make more than 1250/ week, without any hoops to jump thru

A minimum guarantee at a place like K & B is probably something valuable. A few bad dispatches or excessive delays waiting for meat loads and your pay for the entire week could be crap to no fault of your own. Every place is going to have the occasional slow week due to the way the chips fall and it might be good to know a minimum might be in place to protect you during those rare screwed up weeks

People in non trucking all over are paid salary without any stupid words like gauranteed. Even the Bible does not use the word... /sarcastic stab...

IF they would just pay the 1250 and shut up about it everyone will be flocking to run for them.
