It was a bad water pump. Checked in at 7 AM and was out before they close at 7 PM. Fortunately they got all the parts and could do it in one day. I must say, in nearly 38 years since I started truck driving, this was the first shop where I would like to come back. Friendly, professional mechanics, clean shop.

Could make my delivery short before midnight, they received till midnight, was there 12 minutes before 12.
Half an hour later I was empty and had my paperwork. usually it always takes two hrs, but I think they wanted to go home. Called them in advance that I can make it, but got heavy snow from Vail Pass to Golden, snow covered roads delayed me a bit. Fortunately no chain law

If you're in Vernon again in such a situation, give me a call, a few miles away you can park on street and nobody bothers you. Parked there several times when I ran out of hrs. Never had problems.
It's a pain to get out of Vernon with just one hour left to reach a truck stop.

 

Got lucky. Came in behind the NE storm, and the Chicago storm. Sitting in Walcott now.

Elogs are going to continue to have hiccups, we'll continue to work around them. Hopefully, someday...... the feds will get their act together. Right!!!!! Glad I don't have very many more years of this.

 

Snowing pretty good now. Wonder what kind of winterland I will wake up to?
