    After a week off, I'm back. Problem with taking off so long is, on the one hand, you start to get bored. OTOH, you don't really want to come back either. Lol

    I've been keeping my eye out for a work vehicle for a while now at just the right price and condition ...and haul stuff with for my work shop ...and my impala stays in there when I'm gone and weather is nasty .
    Anyway yesterday I found ( and don't laugh lol) a 1985 Chevy suburban Silverado .
    Has a little rust but nothing extensive .
    350 cid .
    129k on the clock .
    Auto Tranny.
    Looks good from a distance , runs and drives perfect , good rubber , belonged to a retired union Pacific employee .
    Needs some minor tlc , battery , oil change etc ...seat cover too ...shocks wouldnt hurt it either .
    Payed 500 bucks for it and every thing works .
    Even got rear heat and air .

    Well crap, should've just stayed home. Made it as far as the peelot in council bluffs to scale, and had a stinking brake chamber go out on the trailer. Was holding air good enough to get back to our shop, so here I be.
