    I've never actually owned a carrier unit until now so never was able fully set the configurations up to my liking but now that I have I gotta say it has exceeded my expectations ...I've owned a trip pack and there are good and bad with both .

    Noisy compared to a tk .
    Cycle more than a tk.
    Pricey generator.

    Tk minus'
    Espar heater.
    Inverter power that may require starting the main engine .
    Alternater issues .

    Neither are perfect and both pricey .

    Week not starting well and am extremely annoyed!!! Load is being temporarily refused due to shipper forgetting to put a temp recorder in trailer. Now I have to find a carrier dealer, and go get them to download the last couple of days operation and get a printout. They don't open till 0800. At least there is one here in Portland, me. *Sighs*

    Oh Rabes, why did you do this to me? Seems that they did put a tattletale in. They stuck it to the side of a box, about half way in. Course, they didn't bother to tell anyone that.

    Can you get them to send an after-hours tech out to do it and charge that back to the shipper or receiver? Surely you’ve got some leverage against the shipper to pay either for this or for a day’s detention time.
