Well here's what I've learned since last Saturday morn .
I wake up in the morning and the 1st thing I do is eat a light breakfast with a small cup of coffee ...I run about 4 hours and eat a light lunch not waiting until I'm starving ...snack on a banana in the afternoon while driving .
When I park for the night I snack on cheese and eat a light meal before I go to bed .
The afternoon crash involving headaches , irritability and feeling like poop hasn't happened since , still tired at the end of the day but feel much better than the last few months in the afternoon.
A diabetic friend pointed out to me that breakfast is the key and not waiting for lunch until starving which eliminates the blood sugar valleys and spikes and the valley that follows in the afternoon.

As this pandemic is getting more and more out of control, me and my wife made a decision, we will go back to Europe!
My days as a truck driver are done as I will not drive a truck again in Europe, I wouldn't feel safe in a cabover again.
I'm planning to retire, but Germany is not our goal as it's too expensive. We're now looking for a house in Southern Spain, nice climate and cost of living is much better than other countries. And Spain has a very good healthcare system, it's #8 worldwide.
Cost for private healthcare insurance is just about 200 Euros per month for a couple, that's about $220
Even the Covid-19 numbers are rising in some parts of Spain, it's nothing compared to here.
This country is completely on the wrong path, if they don't shut down the whole country for a few weeks, they will never get in under control
It will not be easy to enter Spain, I'm just trying to figure out how I can do it. As a U.S. Citizen you can't enter Europe right now, but I'm still a German Citizen and they are allowed to enter Spain. But as I'm coming form the U.S., a high risk area, I'm not sure if I have to fly to Germany first, be in quarantine for 14 days and then fly to Spain.
If anybody is interested in buying a house in New Mexico on 40 acres, let me know
And I will have to sell my beloved Jeep as it will not be possible to register it in Spain after I've done all the modifications in the last months
I'll keep you guys updated on our new journey, the biggest problem we'll have to get our 2 dogs and 5 cats to Spain.Knucklehead, Vic Firth, Dale thompson and 9 others Thank this. -
