We cancelled our feeder sale today and the cow/bull sale Wednesday. So I'm still hanging out at the house. Watching the dogs play in the snow every couple hours

I think I've idled my truck overnight maybe 4 times in 3.5 years but in this 40 below windchill with the temp headed for minus 22 the apu isn't cutting it even with the auxiliary heater running .
The executive decision has been made and she's idled up to 1000.

    I hear ya man.
I've had two extra beers tonite, turned the thermostat up to 70 and cranked the waterbed up to 88.
Finishing chicken on the air fryer and I'm in the house.

    #### I miss my waterbed. Slept on that thing for 32 years.

    I've had one since '75.
Buddy of mine ran team with his wife and they had a custom waterbed in a '81 freightliner.
They both said they slept great going down the road.

And I talked to a couple friends down in austin, most of the city has been without power since early this morning. Rolling blackout thingy. Current temp here is 2 below but I have electricity.

I couldn't imagine being down there not being used to that weather or having the knowledge and tools to deal with it .
Thank God I grew up in north dakota!!
