Jail sentence wasn’t long enough. Should’ve been 60 years instead of 60 days.
JB7, Flat Earth Trucker and Antinomian Thank this. -
He actually caused an accident, then committed insurance fraud, and he only got 60 days.
And the DA is patting himself on the back: "Count to 10 before you commit fraud in Santa Clara County.".Flat Earth Trucker and Gearjammin' Penguin Thank this. -
If he tried that in Massachusetts he would definitely going to prison.
5 years in state lockup.
Fines from $1000 to $10000.
The state attorney general’s office has a hard-on for those particular cases, and they prosecute them VIGOROUSLY!!!
They dare you, they double dare you, they triple dog dare you to try to commit insurance fraud in the Bay State!Last edited: Jul 12, 2026

60 days in jail for FELONY insurance fraud, FELONY vandalism, and reckless driving. Oh boy.

Even then, it wasn’t long enough. The punishment needs to be a effective deterrent so would be copycats would think twice before pulling such a stunt again!Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.
