A few years ago fiberglass port-potty were put along the climbing trails.
They were removed due to dozens of 911 calls every day from climbers frozen to the toilet seat.Opus, Intothesunset, MartinFromBC and 2 others Thank this. -
So charge a $100K per foreign climber and pay the Sherpas to haul the stuff back down......

Most of those climbers are helpless without a Sherpa.
Kinda like watching silly things on TV of people doing dangerous acts.
When someone comments on it , I say, "That's nothing, what about the camera crew filming it?"
That shuts them up.
I like this paragraph: "People living at the Base Camp use melted snow for drinking water -- and for them, the human excrement poses a health risk."Last edited: Jun 24, 2019

Someone secretly filmed him killing a large black panther and that was his downfall. The animal was in a cage in some pickup truck. They went to some backroad in China and released the panther. It was so scared it lay cowering on the dirt road. The guy walked up to it and shot it. The government had him arrested for being in possession of a firearm and killing a protected species.Midnightrider909, mjd4277, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this. -
I'm less about going to cold places, I want to take a motorcycle journey through Central America. There's lots of those going on, but no "Support Crew" for me. That would make it pointless. Then you're just on a guided tour, just like those climbing Everest these days.
