    They were extremely common up here before the days of tridrives. We aren't allowed to run with any lift axles on our trucks so jeeps were the solution to increase weights. Still see them quite often. Out in Alberta they have tandem and tridem jeeps. Have even seen 16 wheel tandem jeeps out here.

    Unless your running Western Canada or need to stay with a "lighter" tandem truck for the majority of your loads I wouldn't mess with a single Jeep. I need both so for all the more it gets used it serves it's purpose. I wouldn't want to mess with one day in day out vrs having a 4 axle truck that's for sure.

    Unfortunately I already have my truck and I'm in a position where I cant buy another one. Well it would mean I buy another truck or a trailer, not both lol
