Does Schuster go to the Northeast? Are they forced dispatch?
What areas of Canada do they go to?Friend Thanks this. -
Don't work there but have talked to a few drivers and a recruiter in the past. They run all 48. Not sure about Canada.FellowTraveller Thanks this.

I think we only have one customer in Canada if what they said in orientation is still correct. Only a little bit across the border in Manitoba I believeLonesome and FellowTraveller Thank this.

I have a load going to Massachusetts right now. East coast pay is $50. This is my second stint with Schuster and I haven’t been to Canada with them yet but back in 2022 on my first stint with this company I took a load to the Vancouver area and one of my most memorable loads was delivering to Kelowna BC Canada in January. That was a beautiful ride.

Back when I worked for Navistar I used to deliver new trucks up to Canada. Always a beautiful trip. Great scenery.bzinger, Lonesome, FellowTraveller and 1 other person Thank this.

Dang, I’m jealous. Wouldn’t hurt to have a PassPort anyways, but I would’ve gone ahead and gotten mine if I knew we had actual loads to CanadaJForce28 Thanks this.

I haven’t gotten one since Ive been back. turnpikes and twisties was telling me they cross a lot there in Detroit.
I have my passport, twic, and hazmat and haven’t used them once since I’ve been back. Not complaining just saying. As long as the miles are tall and my checks are fat I’m happy.Last edited: Jun 18, 2026
Friend, Speedy356, Thrasher28 and 2 others Thank this. -
TWIC, HazMat, Passport, etc. and you’re still opting for OTR while from NEPA? You’re a better man than me. That seems like a prime spot for intermodal, fuel hauling, or LTL work lol. But I agree.
I just started the HazMat process and got fingerprinted while home. Have to take some silly ELDT course to appease Kentucky’s HM program though. I’ve noticed we have some tanker endorsement loads.. I don’t have a tanker endorsement, but still get dispatched on them occasionally. Not sure if they think I have it or they don’t realize those huge liquid totes require them, but oh well. They’re always short little runs so I just dodge the scales. Whoopsbryan21384 and JForce28 Thank this. -
I have both tanker and doubles/triples on my license. I've pulled a grand total of one load that needed my tanker endorsement. They were large totes of liquid fertilizer from SC to WI
48Packard, hope not dumb twucker and Thrasher28 Thank this.
